Located alongside Glasgow’s former docks, the BBC Scotland building sits on an exposed plot of land dominated by the river Clyde.
Responsible for Stage 1 Spacial planning of the internal environment. The BBC is a vastly technical building. The use of a large central atrium was successful in creating collective work areas and public spaces.
Working closely with David Chipperfield to create a building distinct from Conventional offices and liaising directly with the BBC Facility management team to gain an understanding of the working relationships between the varied technical sides of a Television Studio.
